The American Fisheries Society seeks fisheries scientists to serve as Associate Editors of the North American Journal of Aquaculture (NAJA). Experience in reviewing and publishing in NAJA or companion AFS journals preferred. NAJA publishes papers in all areas of intensive and extensive fish culture. Topics include broodstock selection and spawning, nutrition and feeding, health and water quality, facilities and production technology, and the management of ponds, pens, and raceways. Individuals who specialize in genetics and nutrition are especially needed, but all will be considered.
Duties include:
- Obtaining peer reviews for each submission assigned to you
- Evaluating the submission in light of those reviews
- Preparing a detailed written recommendation for the Editor
Associate Editors are appointed for a two-year, renewable term.
