Since the arrival of STRUCTURE (Pritchard et al. 2000), biologists have been using Bayesian clustering algorithms to discover population genetic structure. This webinar will discuss several popular freely-available packages (STRUCTURE, BAPS, structurama, others?) with a focus on understanding the algorithms underlying the packages. The presentation will be as non-technical as possible, and advantages and disadvantages of the different packages will be discussed. AFS thanks the Student Sub-section of the Education Section for their help with organizing this webinar!
