Starting in February 2025, AFS is introducing a new service for units – online award submission and review!
In 2023, AFS adopted a new award platform (Award Force) for its national level awards and the Hutton program applications. Since then, we have had over 1500 applications submitted and reviewed!
We have had a few AFS units ask about utilizing the Award Force for section/division level award submissions for 2025. To try and offset AFS staff costs for setting up awards, we will be adopting the following policies:
Required information for setting up awards in the Award Force system:
Submission
Award name(s)
Submission open and closing dates
Required questions, including demographics, CV, letters of support; order for the questions, if applicable; any applicable language to explain questions
Review
Criteria/questions to be used by reviewers
Scoring for each criterion
Weight for each criterion, if applicable. If not applicable, all questions will be weighted evenly
Reviewer names and emails
Review period opening and closing dates
How many times should each submission be reviewed/should all reviewers be assigned to all submissions?
Pricing:
$150 for 20 submissions or fewer
$250 for 21+ submissions
Submissions are priced per award submission cycle (year); the total number of submissions may be spread across multiple award categories.
