Whether deciding where to go out for dinner or how best to allocate conservation funds, making decisions can be challenging (particularly as a group). The number of possible actions can be daunting, and objectives may be complex or conflicting. We will explore the basic ideas behind Structured Decision Making (problem decomposition and value-based assessment) to provide a user-friendly tool for a complex world.
