Ancestry and Adaptation of Rainbow Trout in Yosemite National Park

From Fisheries magazine, this research revealed that, despite extensive stocking with hatchery Rainbow Trout strains throughout the study area, most populations retained largely indigenous ancestry.

Prioritizing Conservation Efforts for Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout Populations

From Fisheries magazine, scientists found that 36% of populations ranked as high (>0.75) conservation priority, and these populations primarily occupied large, relatively high‐elevation habitats.
