She recently retired from the USFWS after working approximately 30 years and holding numerous positions, most recently as assistant director, Fisheries and Habitat Conservation. MYY "Supermale" Brook Trout May Help Eradicate Nonnative Populations

In a new, featured paper in Transactions, researchers confirmed that hatchery MYY fish stocked in streams can survive and spawn successfully with wild fish and produce all‐male progeny.

Predicted and Observed Responses of a Nonnative Channel Catfish Population

Researchers for this paper used population models to investigate size‐specific removal efforts needed to overfish a nonnative population of Channel Catfish Ictalurus punctatus, thereby aiding in the recovery of endangered fishes in the San Juan River, New Mexico and Utah.
