12th Annual Kansas Natural Resources Conference

Registration is now open for the 12th annual Kansas Natural Resources Conference in Manhattan, Kansas, January 31 – February 1, 2019. Online registration is open for natural resource professionals, students, and resource managers to attend this popular conference to discuss the advancements and research surrounding the field of natural resources. The conference will take place January 31 – February 1, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas. This annual event increases awareness of natural resources in the state and stresses the continuing need to protect and improve these resources, while connecting groups, agencies, and people working for healthy Kansas ecosystems.

This year’s plenary discussion, “Celebrating Conservation Past & Present,” will feature Dr. Mamie Parker, former assistant director for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Lance Irving of the Sand County Foundation, and Howard Vincent of Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever. A welcome social on Thursday night will provide ample networking opportunities, and a student/mentor breakfast on Friday morning will allow students additional time to discuss career goals with seasoned
professionals.
