Normandeau Associates, Inc., one of the nation’s largest science-based environmental consulting firms, is seeking a temporary Field Technician in our Bedford, NH office.
Field duties include assisting in the day-to-day conduct of biological-related fieldwork (duties may include fisheries sampling, water quality monitoring, boat related field work; plus any other field, shop, and office needs assigned and other tasks as necessary). The individual must be capable of lifting 50-75 pounds and working in sometimes harsh and uncomfortable working conditions. Travel, overtime, weekend, and nighttime work are required at times to meet schedules and project needs. The individual must be capable of being trained to work on an assortment of environmental projects and programs.
A degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, or Environmental Science, or a related degree is preferred, but not necessary. PADI Dive Certification and experienced small motor boat operating capabilities is a plus. Candidates should be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
