Primary responsibilities include the supervision of a fish sampling crew conducting electrofishing samples in wadeable streams throughout west Tennessee. Other responsibilities include instream habitat surveys, data entry, and maintenance of field equipment.
Minimum qualifications include: a B.S. in biology, stream/wildlife ecology or related field; experience with stream habitat surveys and backpack electrofishing; a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work long hours (~ 10 hrs) in hot and humid conditions.
