Responsibilities

Multiple 3-7 month positions. Primary activity will be boat electrofishing on the Green River to remove invasive species assisting with the recovery of endangered fishes, with opportunities to assist other projects monitoring sensitive and endangered native fishes using barge and raft electrofishing, seining, trammel and fyke netting, and PIT-technology. ** Free Housing available **

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or degree-seeking in fisheries biology or closely related field. Preference may be given to applicants with electrofishing, boating, and other fisheries experience, with demonstrated ability to work well independently and with others. Strenuous physical activity, long hours of operation, and overnight camping in remote locations required for fieldwork.
