The School of Natural Resources and the Environment seeks a full time Research Specialist to work with the University of Arizona Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, motivated, detail-oriented, friendly, organized fisheries professional and will be expected to collaborate with scientists on an international program to standardize freshwater fish sampling methods. The successful applicant will work with top fisheries scientists across the continent to seek, incorporate and analyze data, help coordinate writing activities, help in website programing, and assist in general logistics. Applicant will assist with field work and logistics on fisheries projects in the Southwestern deserts as an occasional activity.
MS degree in fisheries or aquatic sciences
