Lab manager for SE Cooperative Fish Parasite & Disease Lab; research in aquatic animal health, parasitology, microbiology; maintain equipment to operational standards; maintain lab QA/QC standards; order supplies, inventory supplies, invoice clients, track budgets; train students in disease diagnostics; write annual reports, assist in compiling data; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from accredited institution in Fisheries, Biology or related field. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated technical excellence, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one prior to selection are also required.
