Develop a management strategy evaluation for the US West Coast coastal pelagic fleet under a range of uncertainty scenarios, including climate related shifts in the dynamics of forage fish, their predators, and fleet dynamics.
Ph.D. in Fisheries Science, Quantitative Ecology, Biology, Zoology, Biological Oceanography, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline; knowledge of fisheries population dynamics and population dynamics modelling; strong quantitative skills; proficiency with advanced statistics and data analysis; proficiency in programming languages such as R, MATLAB, or Python; willingness for collaboration with other postdoctoral researchers, students, and NOAA and University scientists; demonstrated ability to summarize scientific findings in the form of written manuscripts and oral presentations.
