Model fluvial fish distributions and characterize the degree to which stream habitats may be modified by current and future landscape-scale influences over large spatial extents.
Ph.D. in aquatic/fisheries ecology or related field within last 5 years. Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with others; publish in peer-reviewed journals; write proposals and reports. Must have a demonstrable understanding of landscape influences on aquatic habitats and organisms and knowledge of how such influences can vary. Experience with multivariate statistics and/or modeling and Geographic Information Systems are required. The job involves travel and coordination among various stakeholders.
