Participate in various research projects that focus on the use of hard part geochemistry to determine origins, characterize movement and reconstruct environmental life history of fish species within and potentially outside the region. Applicants should have a strong background in fish ecology and behavior, as well as isotope mass spectrometry.
PhD (within 5 years) in fisheries or related field and experience with geochemistry laboratory methods, multi-collector inductively coupled mass spectrometry and (or) thermal ionization mass spectrometry. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills through publications and presentations. Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain federal security clearance.
