Selected students will develop PhD research projects that address important management issues in the Great Lakes (e.g., ecological effects of eutrophication, climate change impacts on larval fish dispersal and hypoxia influences on fish distributions and movement patterns).
Successful applicants will have completed relevant degrees and have experience with or strong interest in developing statistical and process models with the goal of informing fisheries and ecosystem management.
