The Fish and Movement Ecology Lab at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI) are looking for a PhD student to help understand how warming oceans, species distributions, and feeding habits interact to impact the Northwest Atlantic ecosystem. The position will be based at UNH, and the student will be supervised by Dr. Nathan Furey with additional supervision from Dr. Kathy Mills at GMRI.
The ideal candidate should have completed a MS degree prior to starting the position. The student should have experience in quantitative analyses (particularly spatial data and/or diet data), proficiency in R or other programming languages, and experience developing peer-reviewed publications.
