Student will have the flexibility to choose their dissertation/thesis research project based on their interests within the field of reservoir sportfish management and ecology (see web site for examples of past projects). Position is funded as a teaching assistantship. Teaching responsibilities will include prep work and driving a boat for Fisheries Techniques every fall and Fisheries Management every spring, and one additional lab section of some other course each semester (often ecology or natural history). Position starts with Spring 2019 semester (January 14, 2019).
B.S. degree (M.S. for Ph.D. applicants) in fisheries, biology, or related field; competitive GPA & GRE scores.
