Project complexity will relate to degree sought. The overarching goal of the projects is to understand the relationships between seasonal distributions and sustainable harvest of river Striped Bass populations, especially with respect to angler harvest from tailwater habitats. Students will have flexibility in designing their project. The successful candidate will need to be able to collaborate with state agency personnel and should have strong quantitative and writing skills. The student will be co-advised by Drs. Dan Shoup and Shannon Brewer and will start in January 2019.
B.S. degree (M.S. for Ph.D. applicants) in fisheries, biology, or related field; competitive GPA & GRE scores.
