Coho Salmon Captive Broodstock and Recovery Program Director will: oversee hatchery and recovery operations, administer grants, write grant applications, coordinate permits, generate documents for planning and compliance, manage employee relations and contracts, manage and oversee contractors, oversee facilities maintenance and management, participate in adaptive Program management. oversee financial aspects of project management, confirm reporting requirements are met, coordinate, and facilitate, needed meetings, be Agency liaison, be public spokesperson.
BS or MS. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), energetic, outgoing, excellent organizational, and meeting management skills. Substantial background knowledge and experience in some combination of the following: fisheries biology/recovery/management, hatchery methods and management, conservation biology, business management, data management, documentation, budget development and management, facilities management, advocacy and public media management, public relations, partnership facilitation, technical and grant writing.
