Graduate student openings are expected in one of several areas including: (1) the role of fishing in shaping recreational fish populations, (2) developing strategies to stop the spread of Asian carp, and (3) role of restoration activities in shaping fish populations. Projects will involve both field and laboratory components. Duties include conducting experiments, collecting data, and sharing results at conferences and in peer-reviewed outlets.
BS in biology, ecology, fisheries, animal physiology, or related. Previous research experience or field work is an asset.
