We are seeking a motivated student beginning January 2020. The student will develop a thesis project from the research objectives of an EPA funded project evaluating the ecological effects of living shorelines in Mississippi. The student is expected to work in field and laboratory settings, present results of their project at professional meetings, and the thesis work should culminate in at least one peer-reviewed manuscript.
B.S. degree (minimum GPA 3.0) in ecology (or related field) and possess strong quantitative, writing, and presentation skills. The successful applicant will be provided a full-time Research Assistantship, health insurance, and a tuition waiver.
