Dr. Stuart Ludsin (http://www.ludsinlab.com/) has openings for up to three graduate students to conduct research on the following topics:1)impacts of harmful algal blooms and bottom hypoxia on Lake Erie’s food webs and fisheries; 2)ecology and fishery dynamics of Lake Erie walleye and yellow perch; and 3)the ecology of sport fishes in Ohio reservoirs.
Degree in biology, ecology, aquatic sciences, or related field. Students must be creative, motivated, and capable of working effectively both independently and in collaborative groups. Students must have strong communication and quantitative skills.
