The successful candidate will complete research and coursework for a Master of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. The primary focus of the research is open-ended, but with a particular opportunity to build on recent research on the behavior, movements, habitat use, and/or sampling procedures for blue or flathead catfish. Individuals must be physically capable of working long hours in demanding outdoor conditions, and are expected to assist with other projects as needed. This is a teaching assistantship that requires teaching two lower-level undergraduate laboratories weekly. First possible start date is 01/01/2019.
A bachelor’s degree in fisheries science or a related degree and completion of the GRE.
