Independently perform creel survey clerk duties and collect fish information on designated waters. This involves interviewing anglers at shore fish locations and boat launches, recording data, as well as identifying, measuring, and weighing fish caught by anglers. Responsible for compiling and analyzing data and preparing written documentation and/or reports. These positions will require some early morning and evening work. They will require working all weekends and holidays, and are expected to travel to multiple locations.
Knowledge of common Wisconsin fish species. Ability to accurately identify common Lake Michigan fish to species name. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be willing to work in inclement weather.
