Position performs and coordinates the assessment of impacts on anadromous salmonid and shellfish resources and their habitats from past or planned development by applying scientific knowledge to the review of permits and plans within the Tribe’s Usual and Accustomed Fishing Area. This position supervises and coordinates the performance of professional, technical and administrative work in the operation of the Habitat Program and provides technical guidance and assistance on habitat issues to the Habitat Assistant Director.
A Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Fisheries Science, Biology, Water Resource Management, environmental engineering, or a closely related field. Seven (7) years of directly relevant experience, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience of professional scientific and technical staff. See announcement for more info.
