State funded research laboratories working in areas of aquatic ecology and fisheries management. Current research projects include sportfish habitat enhancements, population ecology, invasion biology of Asian carp in the Illinois River, spatial ecology of stocked muskellunge, predator-prey interactions, and experimental tests of harvest regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with field sampling, creel surveys, laboratory procedures, experiments, and data processing and analysis.
Working toward B.S. degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Biology, Zoology, Fisheries or related fields.
