Analyze, synthesize, and interpret hydrologic data to support anadromous and resident fish populations in Columbia River tributaries as part of the Columbia Basin Water Transactions Program (CBWTP). Conduct and assist in various aspects of instream flow restoration projects. Conduct hydrologic studies and analyses, including: geomorphology, riparian/floodplain assessment, water quantity/quality and surface water-groundwater interaction, aquifer recharge, water-use efficiency assessments; assist in project development and implementation; environmental compliance requirements; provide reports in coordination with multiple state, federal, and private stakeholders.
Master’s degree or higher in hydrology or other directly related field of study; relevant experience and the ability to independently perform moderately difficult and responsible scientific work; proficiency with various types of hydrological instruments.
