Investigate community-level effects of non-native trout in Ozark streams. Project will comprise both lab and field components including population assessments, habitat-use studies, and behavioral experiments. Student will be encouraged to incorporate personal research interests. Can support M.S. or PhD student.
B.S or M.S. in fisheries, aquatic ecology, or related discipline. Candidate must be enthusiastic about scientific research, demonstrate a willingness to embrace challenges and learn new things, and be able to work effectively both independently and as a team member. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated writing and quantitative skills and field experience.
