Recruiting up to three funded graduate research assistants at the M.S. or Ph.D. level with an interest in fisheries and/or invasion ecology. Possible areas of sponsored research include: 1) Fish movement including novel analyses techniques for telemetry data, 2) Invasion ecology including the impacts and management of invasions, 3) Socioeconomic/ecological factors underlying the establishment and control of aquatic species invasions.
Demonstrated skills in GIS, statistical analysis, aquatic field sampling, database management, acoustic telemetry, and/or experience using scientific grade hydroacoustic equipment are preferred. Applicants must have a GPA > 3.0 and a valid driver’s license. Applicants at the Ph.D. level must have defended their M.S. prior to January 1, 2021.
