The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) Fishery Science Department is seeking a full-time Fishery Scientist to manage the Basinwide Supplementation Evaluation (BSE) Project. The BSE Project provides technical support and funding for studies that complement monitoring and evaluation programs associated with hatchery production projects managed by the Nez Perce Tribe, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation, the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon, and the Confederated Tribes of the Yakama Nation. This position requires expertise related to hatchery management, anadromous fish supplementation, and fish reintroduction. The incumbent will collaborate closely with CRITFC and tribal personnel to develop research study designs, data collection and analysis, reintroduction plans, supplementation and monitoring protocols, and to act as a tribal reviewer/resource on issues related to hatchery production and population monitoring in the Columbia River Basin.
