We seek to hire an individual to assist with a graduate research project assessing the recovery of Arctic Grayling and Westslope Cutthroat Trout in restored streams of northwestern Yellowstone National Park. Responsibilities will include assisting the graduate student with field activities such as electrofishing, collecting biological samples, PIT-tagging fish, conducting visual spawning surveys, setting and retrieving gillnets, and maintaining a clean backcountry camp in the heart of grizzly bear country. The successful candidate will also help write field reports, collect and enter data, and build maps in ArcGIS.
