Assist in tracking Mountain Whitefish using radio telemetry in the Green River, Wyoming during the spawning season. Duties will include raft electrofishing, rowing a drift boat, using radio telemetry equipment, egg mat sampling, and equipment maintenance.
Duration of Position: 26 August – 29 November
Bachelor’s degree or seeking a degree in fisheries, ecology, or related field. Housing will be provided if applicant is willing to live in a camper for an extended period. Rafting and radio telemetry experience preferred. Must be willing to work some weekends and long days in harsh weather conditions (e.g., snow, wind). Must have a valid driver’s license.
