Assist in the trapping and spawning of kokanee salmon and perform routine trap tending duties such as maintaining fish weir, cleaning cabin, cooking meals and other duties as assigned.

This position, with or without reasonable accommodations, require standing and working in cold water and for up to ten hours per shift; lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 60 pounds; and working in adverse weather conditions. Occasional weekend work rotation may be required. Shifts are usually 10 days on and 4 days off. Meals are provided during your 10 day shift. Housing is provided. Employment dates are October 21 – December 20, 2019



Demonstrated ability to handle responsibilities and work independently. College coursework in a Natural Resource/Biological Science or related field is strongly preferred, but not mandatory. Previous fish hatchery experience is beneficial but not required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to read, write, and compute simple math. Must have a valid driver’s license.
