The Anadromous Fish Screen and Habitat Program in Salmon, Idaho is seeking 3 Fisheries Biological Aides (non-benefited) to be part of a fisheries monitoring and evaluation crew. This position is part of an interdisciplinary team that operates a large fish screening and habitat restoration program throughout the Upper Salmon Basin. Position will assist in monitoring the abundance, distribution, and habitat use of salmonids. This position will be part of a field crew of 3-4 people during the summer field season. Primary duties include: stream electrofishing, snorkeling, recording data, spawning ground surveys, operating and maintain PIT Tag detection systems, and maintaining all field equipment.
