Location: Based out of Springfield, Oregon. Work to be conducted in the McKenzie River and Middle Fork Willamette River basins.

August 26, 2019 through November 8, 2019 (1 position)
Upper Willamette Bull Trout Project. Assist with field surveys to monitor bull trout/cutthroat trout/ rainbow trout/Chinook salmon at sites within the McKenzie/Middle Fork Willamette basins. Conduct spawning surveys. Hiking and wading in swift streams, snorkeling, operating fish traps, operating tag detection systems, and handling fish. Install, maintain, and dismantle equipment.
Preference for experience:handling fish or wildlife, conducting natural resources-related fieldwork, working outdoors, physical labor, and who possess or are in pursuit of a Fisheries or Wildlife Science degree or related degree in biological/ecologicalsciences.
