The incumbent will plan, organize, and implement fishery management activities to support Council programs. The position requires sensitive and facilitative leadership skills as this position identifies critical and complex political, managerial and organizational challenges and recommends courses of action to solve such problems to the Council. Responsible for fiscal resources allocated to the Council as well as internal operations. Serves as spokesman for Council. Recruits and hires staff
Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred). Must have 10 years professional experience working in a fishery science or closely related field and 5 years supervisory experience.
