Oversee the Lonoke Fish Health lab and provide vital field support for the Arkansas aquaculture industry. Develop a dynamic Extension fish health program, maintain fish health and water quality diagnostics services for producers, and train county Extension agents.
A Ph.D. degree in fish biology, fish health, fish pathology, aquaculture, or similar field, or a veterinarian with fish health experience. Fish health diagnostic and Extension experience are strongly preferred. Applicant must possess or pursue AFS-FHS certification as an Aquatic Animal Health Inspector within 6 months of hire.
