|Salary||$4,574 – 5,632 monthly|
Provides statistical and bioinformatic support, working to design, develop, and support statistical procedures to analyze fisheries and genetic data, and to assist a team of professional scientists with writing, analyzing, and reviewing operational plans, reports, and manuscripts. This flexibly-staffed position allows for appointment into a level commensurate with training and experience, and opportunity to be promoted after gaining additional training and experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an innovative individual to develop novel analyses methods to extract the maximum value from data collected and provide integrity and confidence in the results.
This position may be filled at the I, II, or III level, depending on training and/or experience. The qualifications at the Biometrician I level are: Master’s degree from accredited college in biometrics, statistics, or one of the biological sciences including or supplemented by 18 semester or 27 quarter hours of graduate level statistics and/or biometrics.
