Sixteen full-time, seasonal positions. Statewide positions based out of Casper, Cody, Green River, Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Pinedale, and Sheridan. Duration is 6 – 8 months (Class Code #ATAW99, Job # 09563). Duties include assist fisheries biologists with field sampling activities such as electrofishing, gill netting, angler surveys, chemical restoration, data entry, and equipment maintenance. Most positions start April or May and conclude in September or October.
High school degree plus experience in fish and wildlife resource management, research, or college work towards a degree in fisheries or closely related fields. Must have valid driver’s license.
