The incumbent is responsible for ongoing implementation of state conduct of the Marine Recreational Information Program (MRIP) surveys on the Atlantic coast, including the Access Point Intercept Angler Survey (APAIS) and the For-hire Telephone Survey (FHTS). The incumbent provides support to partner agencies conducting MRIP surveys from Georgia through Maine and acts as a liaison between ACCSP partners conducting MRIP survey(s).
A graduate degree in fisheries science, marine biology, or a related field. Knowledge of Atlantic coast recreational fisheries surveys, data collection and management. Proven written and oral communication, coordination and interpersonal skills; experience with large relational databases such as Oracle.
