The Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences at Rutgers University is seeking a motivated tenure-track, academic year, faculty to join a collaborative statewide community as Director of the Rutgers University Marine Field Station (RUMFS). Preference will be given to a mid-career candidate with a research, teaching and service record that will empower their pursuit of long-term cross-disciplinary partnerships and program-building goals. RUMFS has a decades long history of research in fisheries and marsh ecology that is expanding as part of a state-wide coastal marine research station network. Housed within the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences with >50 faculty, the position will be a creative bridge drawing upon numerous strengths across Rutgers, including growing collaborations within the Rutgers Energy Institute in the area of offshore wind energy development, and within the Rutgers Institute of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences in the area of coastal resiliency.
