This is a12-month, non-tenure track, 100% research appointment located at the NWAC / Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, MS. Primary function is to develop, coordinate, and implement research programs pertaining to catfish nutrition, feeds, and feeding strategies.
Ph.D. in fish nutrition or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills, experience with fish nutrition and aquaculture production, statistics, and experimental design. Experience in grant writing and pursuit of extramural funding are required. Preferred qualifications include strong experience in practical fish nutrition, feed development, feeding strategies, and general aquaculture production.
