Tenure-track position to enhance interdisciplinary research, teaching
and extension strengths in the area of quantitative fisheries science. Establish and
sustain a high impact, nationally recognized research and graduate program in
quantitative fisheries science with strong extramural support and publication record.
Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in the area of applied ecology.
PhD in ecology, biology, fisheries science or related area. Excellent and
innovative graduate and undergraduate teaching and mentoring as well as outreach and
public engagement. Demonstration of exceptional scholarship and potential for
international leadership in research and graduate training as evidenced by a high impact
research program with strong extramural support, publication record and reputation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
