9-month tenure track appointment with both research and teaching responsibilities at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. The selected candidate will be expected to develop a broad research program related to aquatic ecosystem health. See web link below.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in ecotoxicology or a related field as well as coursework and scholarly publications relevant to the position description. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aquatic science, particularly as it applies to effects of environmental stressors on aquatic organisms. At least 2 years experience working with natural aquatic systems of the southeastern U.S. or linking aquatic health to human well being would be viewed favorably.
