The University of California at Davis is pleased to announce a tenure-track faculty position in quantitative fisheries ecology. The successful candidate will join the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor; early career candidates are especially encouraged to apply. The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in fisheries and marine science and management and/or quantitative methods, be actively involved in undergraduate advising, and department and university service.
Criteria for appointment include: Ph.D. in fisheries science, ecology, evolution, statistics and applied mathematics, or a related field, a record of excellence in research, and potential to establish a competitively-funded research program.
