The Biology Department at the University of North Dakota (UND) seeks a tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Aquatic Ecology starting August 16, 2020. UND is centrally located between North Dakota and Minnesota lakes regions and numerous year-round recreation opportunities exist. The department has a Ph.D. program, and active training of graduate expected. The Biology Department at the University of North Dakota (UND) seeks a tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Aquatic Ecology starting August 16, 2020. A Ph.D. in aquatic ecology or related discipline is required.
Preferred qualifications are: postdoctoral experience in aquatic ecology; ability to collaborate with diverse faculty, experience using Big Data in research program; ability to develop an extramurally funded research program; experience working with graduate students in research; ability to teach Aquatic Ecology, Ichthyology, and Fisheries Management; ability to contribute to the Fisheries and Wildlife program and add to research strengths in the Ecology of the Northern Great Plains.
