It’s been a few weeks since I sent out a Fishy Friday article; I’ve just had to address some higher priorities. My apologies. Today’s paper caught my attention, as it looks at the relationship between fish and water quality. That’s long been an area of interest for me. The title addresses changing water clarity, but the causal factor is invasive mussels in the Great Lakes. The article identifies how the change in ecosystem dynamics plays out differently for fish at different life stages and trophic levels. Enjoy!
