Work will consist of but is not limited to the following: fish population/habitat surveys in lakes and streams, gillnetting in lakes, electrofishing from boat in lakes, habitat improvement projects, creel surveys, and all other associated work with the regional sportfish program. 2 Positions
Bachelor’s degree or degree seeking in fisheries biology or closely related field. Must be 18 years or older to apply and have a valid driver’s license. Selected candidates should be capable of conducting strenuous physical activities related to job duties, be capable of working long hours often in diverse weather conditions. Ability to carry a backpack, hike on uneven terrain and in some instances, camp overnight is required. Some projects require knowledge of horses/pack trips and ability to work in remote wilderness locations.
