Duties: Lead biologist responsible for management and performance of a research team; obtaining funding and managing budgets for personnel and research totalling over $2.5 million annually or 23 full time equivalent research staff per year; meeting contract deliverables; and professional development of subordinates. Independently develop and implement research studies focused on key scientific uncertainties associated with hatchery mitigation programs in the Wenatchee Basin. Provides technical expertise, guidance, and leadership for developing methods to assess the abundance, productivity, and spatial distribution of spring Chinook, summer Chinook, sockeye, and steelhead in the Wenatchee Basin
